【英語作文】金豬報喜

I am a pig, my son is a rabbit, I have adaughter's snake, my wife, believe it or not, it is a dragon! Do I live in thezoo? No, of course not! I am talking about our zodiac.

 Everyone has an animal as a symbol,depending on your birth year. This is why I am a pig and my wife is a dragon.

 February 5th is the Chinese New Year and2019 is the Year of the Pig, so let's take a closer look at this interestinganimal.

 Pigs were first domesticated by humansabout 9000 years ago and are still a very common farm animal in many parts ofthe world. We don't just use pork - almost every part of the animal is used.Bones and skin are used for glue and football. Hair is used in the artist'sbrush and insulation 1 . Fat is used in the manufacture of pesticides, floor polishes,rubber and plastics. Surprisingly, pigs are the source of nearly 40 drugs, andtheir heart valves can be used in surgery to replace humans.

 Pigs are also important in theentertainment industry. In 1995, the movie "Baby" starred as a cutepig as the protagonist. The film won an Oscar and won six nominations.

 In England, you can even go to watch thecar 2. A farmer, Rob Shepherd, has been raising money for race competitions onhis farm. These activities have been very successful. People don't just want toeat pigs, it seems!
