Relish the Moment

品味今天

Tucked away in our subconscious is an idyllic vision.

We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent.

We are traveling by train.

Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways,

of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside,

of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides,

of city skylines and village halls.

But uppermost in our minds is the final destination.

隱秘于你的心靈似乎會(huì)收獲怡然自得。

我們踏著長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的旅途，穿梭于廣袤之地。

我們乘著列車(chē)。

透過(guò)窗楹，我們一邊享用飲品，一邊凝望過(guò)往的風(fēng)景，

我們看到路口揮舞著小手的孩童，遠(yuǎn)山上放牧的牛群，

看到開(kāi)闊的平原，深邃的山谷，高峻的山峰，起伏的山脈。

以及那城市的天際線和村莊里的小廳堂。

但是，我們腦海中充斥的卻是那遠(yuǎn)方的終點(diǎn)站。

"When we reach the station, that will be it!

"we cry."When I'm 18. " "When I buy a new Mercedes Benz!"

 "When I put the last kid through college."

 "When I have paid off the mortgage!" "When I get a promotion."

"When I reach the age of retirement, I shall live happily ever after!"

Sooner or later,

we must realize there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all.

The true joy of life is the trip.

當(dāng)終點(diǎn)站到達(dá)時(shí)，一切也隨之告終。

我們痛哭，“當(dāng)我18歲時(shí)”，“當(dāng)我買(mǎi)一輛新的奔馳車(chē)時(shí)”。

“當(dāng)我的孩子上了大學(xué)時(shí)”。

“當(dāng)我還清貸款時(shí)”?！爱?dāng)我得到晉升時(shí)”。

“當(dāng)我到退休年齡時(shí)，我會(huì)生活得很快樂(lè)“。

總有一天，

我們會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，根本就沒(méi)有什么終點(diǎn)站，沒(méi)有一勞永逸，更沒(méi)有徹底的享受。

It isn't the burdens of today that drive men mad.

It is the regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow.

Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today.

So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles.

Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often,

swim more rivers,

watch more sunsets, laugh more, cry more.

Life must be lived as we go along.

The station will come soon enough.

其實(shí)，并不是當(dāng)今的壓力使人們變得瘋狂。

是對(duì)昨天的遺憾和對(duì)未來(lái)的畏懼，讓你我更迷茫。

遺憾和畏懼是摧毀我們完美今天的罪魁禍?zhǔn)住?/span>

所以不要再行走于那黑暗的通道之中，細(xì)數(shù)那無(wú)止境的公里數(shù)了。

去攀爬高山，品味冰淇淋，大膽地赤腳行走，穿行更多的河流吧。

看更多的日落，多笑一笑，哭一哭。

人生就是這樣活出精彩的。
