From May 1 next year, the use of ultra-thin plastic bags and disposable items in Beijing will be restricted, and units and residents will face penalties for non-enforcement of garbage classification.

明年5月1日起，超薄塑料袋、一次性用品在北京的使用將受限，單位和居民不執(zhí)行垃圾分類將面臨處罰。

On November 27, the 16th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 15th National People's Congress of the Municipal People's Congress voted and approved the Beijing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee's decision to amend the "Regulations on the Management of Beijing Municipal Solid Waste". The revised "Regulations on the Management of Domestic Waste in Beijing" put forward higher requirements for the classification of domestic waste and will be implemented from May 1, 2020.

11月27日，市十五屆人大常委會(huì)第16次會(huì)議表決通過(guò)北京市人大常委會(huì)關(guān)于修改《北京市生活垃圾管理?xiàng)l例》的決定。修改后的《北京市生活垃圾管理?xiàng)l例》對(duì)生活垃圾分類提出更高要求，將于2020年5月1日起施行。
