25個英語寫作常用的過渡詞，幫你拿高分?。ㄉ希┯⑽暮椭形囊粯?，無論是說還是寫，都要講究起承轉(zhuǎn)合，非如此不能達(dá)意。因而，熟練掌握一些用來起承轉(zhuǎn)合的詞語，是很有必要的。語言是活的，也就是說，只有結(jié)合上下文，語言才會有意義。因此，學(xué)習(xí)掌握這些起承轉(zhuǎn)合的詞語，必須在實(shí)踐中進(jìn)行。在介紹這些詞語的時候，也為大家提供了例句。由于篇幅有限，我將分兩部分講解50個寫作常用的過渡詞，每一組詞語我暫且只提供一個例句，其實(shí)這是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的，特別是有些多義的詞語，需要自己去查字典或在閱讀中揣摩。

詞語中，同義的詞我會列舉在一起，但兩者依然有差異，用法也不盡相同。譬如，but 是個連詞，后邊跟著的就必須是個分句，而however和nevertheless都是副詞，在句子中的位置也更加靈活。這些，都需要大家在實(shí)踐中慢慢體會。

英語寫作常用的過渡詞

accordingly 相應(yīng)地

·They have broken the rules and will be punished accordingly.

他們既然違規(guī)，就要得到相應(yīng)的懲罰。

as a result / consequently / thus 結(jié)果是

·As a result of the injury, he was out of work for three months.

受傷的結(jié)果是他失業(yè)三個月。

·Many Chinese characters look similar and are consequently misused.

很多漢字非常相似，結(jié)果是經(jīng)常被用錯。

·The beverage is highly concentrated, and thus you will need to dilute it.

這種飲料濃度很高，因此需要稀釋。

I believe 我相信

·I believe that you will succeed.

我相信你會成功。

briefly / in brief 簡單地說

·The dish he cooked is, briefly, awful.

他做的這個菜，一言以蔽之：難吃！

·I can’t tell you the whole story, but in brief, they have divorced.

我無法把事情原原本本地告訴你，長話短說吧，他們離婚了。

by the same token 出于同樣原因; 由此類推

·If you give up exercise, your muscles shrink and fat increases. By the same token, if you expend more energy you will lose fat.

如果不鍛煉，肌肉就會萎縮，脂肪也會增加。同理，如果消耗更多的能量，則脂肪也會減少。

eventually (經(jīng)過一段較長時間后) 終于

·Eventually, your child will leave home to lead her own life as a fully independent adult.

你的孩子最終都會離開家，去過她自己完全獨(dú)立的成人生活。

for example (更正式和常用)  / for instance 例如、譬如

·The situation is slowly improving. Last month, for example, the company achieved record sales in Europe.

形勢開始慢慢好轉(zhuǎn)。譬如，公司上個月在歐洲的銷量就創(chuàng)了紀(jì)錄。

·Mobile devices are becoming less expensive. Sophisticated smartphones, for instance, can now be purchased for less than $100.

手機(jī)越來越便宜了。拿精密的智能手機(jī)來說吧，現(xiàn)在不到一百美元就能到手。

fortunately / luckily 幸好

·The dog, fortunately for me, was tied at the time I approached his house.

我很幸運(yùn)，來到他房屋的時候，那只狗是拴著的。

·The flood contaminated the source of our water supply, but luckily, we have enough bottled water.
洪水污染了我們供水的水源，而幸運(yùn)的是，我們還有很多瓶裝水。

frankly / to be frank 坦率地說

·Frankly, I don’t care.

說白了，我不在乎。

·To be frank with you, Helen, I love Jenny.

海倫，跟你直說吧，我愛的是珍妮。

from…it follows that 由此得出結(jié)論

·From what he’s told me, it follows that he doesn’t want to go to the party.

根據(jù)他所告訴我的可知，他不想去參加聚會。

from my perspective / from where I stand / in my opinion / in my view / as I see it 我認(rèn)為

·From my perspective, this looks like a good deal.

我看這筆交易不錯。

·From where I stand, it appears that you're going to have to pay a lot of money to get this matter settled.

依我看，這事兒你得多花點(diǎn)兒錢才能擺平。

·The plan is very ambitious and, in my opinion, impractical.

這個計(jì)劃大了些，我看不現(xiàn)實(shí)。

·In my view, he will never change.

我看啊，他改不了。

·As I see it, he doesn’t have a social life.

依我看，他就是個宅男。

generally speaking 一般來說

·Generally speaking, he’s a good man.

總的說來，他還算是個好人。

honestly / to tell (you) the truth 說真的

·Honestly, I don’t think he is trustworthy.

說真的，我覺得他靠不住。

·To tell you the truth, I’m completely bored.

跟你說實(shí)話吧，我可是煩透了。

·Hopefully, we’ll get more news next week.
